Moreover, the 3” mid-tweeters compact size also suit custom-fit installation into certain factory tweeter locations of other vehicles.

The natural sounding pulp cone 3″ Mid-range combined with the 1” soft dome tweeter delivers an incredibly smooth and detailed mid to high frequency response that’s extended right up to 40kHz — so you can hear the finest nuances in your music.

With an impressive extended dynamic range, playing upper harmonics all the way up to 40kHz, your tracks will come alive with a level of detail and nuance faithful to that of the original recording.

HAMR Surround

Not only does Alpine’s patented High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround maintain full control over the cone at any stage of excursion for high SPL. It’s ability to far exceed the maximum linear excursion of regular domed surround allows for beautifully pure sound and punchy bass.

Glass Fiber Composite Woofer Cone

The door woofer features an all-new glass fiber composite cone, which due to its directionally weaved construction is engineered to be far stronger than a traditional oval cone diaphragm. The resulting rigidity coupled to glass-fiber’s innate lightness results in highly controlled cone excursion producing excellent response and audio reproduction. 

Natural Sound 3″ Mid-Tweeter Configuration

Featuring a highly detailed 3” Coaxial Mid-Tweeters allows for versatile installation and significantly improves sound quality, as well as staging and imaging. The S2-S69C is perfect for modern SUVs and Ute sound upgrades by replacing the factory dashboard mid-tweeter and 6×9″ door woofer. The compact size of the 3” Mid-Tweeter also allows for custom-fit applications behind factory tweeter locations.

Large Magnet Structure

The large strontium magnets housed on the back of S-Series speakers mean business. Combined with large voice coils and Alpine’s patented HAMR Surrounds, increase cone excursion and the force of the driver to provide louder, punchier sound.
