Also, we’ve retained the factory hazard key that now features as a standalone piece, resting below the head unit. Hazard Key Retention
For the unlikely event you’ll need it; we’ve retained the factory hazard key, now featuring as a standalone piece below the head unit. The relocation ensures no compromises, still allowing enough space to place your mobile phone in the centre dash cavity.

Glass-Fiber Reinforced Cone
The R2-Series mids & woofers feature an all-new glass-fiber reinforced cone. This material is very stiff and extremely light-weight, resulting in a super-fast response and highly accurate music reproduction.
HAMR Surround
Alpine’s HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for a maximum cone excursion, while maintaining excellent control. This results in strong bass at high volumes without distortion.
Composite Basket and Large Magnets
The standard models (R2-S69C, R2-S65, R2-S69C and R2-S69) feature composite baskets (in comparison to the Aluminium die-cast baskets of the PRO models) – which makes them more affordable. They fit larger magnets than in previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).
Premium Design Tweeter Housing
The bold, OEM like design of the tweeter housing directly integrates with the OEM pillar which elevates the interior aesthetic and optimises the tweeter axis for superior sound quality. Premium audio never looked so good.

Our R-Series Speakers and PXE-X800 DSP Amplifier both perfectly embody the spirit of the elegant GR Yaris interior design. Blending in seamlessly, this system retains the sleek and racing-oriented design aesthetic that GR Yaris enthusiasts love. To further preserve the OEM look, we’ve integrated the tweeter directly within the factory housing and added an Alpine signature chrome ring and badge for contrast.
PXE-X800 is the ideal accomplice for an R-Series speaker system, and due to it’s sleek profile, we’ve nested it right under the driver’s side seat to be conveniently tucked away, or proudly shown-off by simply rolling back the seat.
